About the event
ADHD, masking, and the real reasons people burn out. Shared for immediate action in 30mins
Building on mental health awareness week in May, Pete Evia-Rhodes (ADHD Coach) explores invisible pressures high-performing professionals with ADHD can experience.
Drawing on personal experience and current research, Pete will unpack topics including rejection sensitive dysphoria (RSD), dopamine regulation, people-pleasing patterns, and why many talented individuals quietly struggle and burnout.
The session will get into the realities of ADHD medication, as well as the impact of demand avoidance (PDA), and how workplace expectations can unintentionally amplify stress for neurodivergent minds.
Attendees will leave with a deeper understanding of ADHD at work, along with practical insights for supporting neurodiverse colleagues and designing team cultures where different brains thrive.
We'll be starting sharp at 12:30pm so please arrive a few minutes before π
